yes in cable sometimes you make 1200/wk other times you make 200/wk. it can be a crapshoot. if youre doing installation work it is probably more predictable than construction. in my years of construction i have had days where the running was awesome, 300 ft. spans with no trees in the way no traffic problems to deal with and so on. then there are the back yard easements in the ghetto with 75 ft. spans and years of overgrowth and neglect where you will spend all day fighting scratching climbing and crawling to get an 800ft. feeder run done.and thats at the same 14 cent a ft as the 300 ft. wide open run you breezed thru yesterday.just wiegh your options carefully and beware ,this industry is full of liars cheats and thieves.if I could get all the money owed to me that i got burned on i would take the year off and go to hawaii. lots-o-luck to ya.
