Re: pro sat installers

Man, trust me I know what constitutes custom charges. Directv states on their web site that standard installation includes 100ft of coax to each, exterior wall penetrations, and routing wire through crawl spaces and/or attics. Mounting of the dish on an exterior surface of the structure. Word for word off their site. They even give you a basic list of what they consider fair prices for various custom charges. Custom charges are wall fishes, pole mounts, pole removals, sidewalk bores, mirrors, a/o without receivers, sled mounts, flat cables, burying, amps, diplexing, phone jacks, additional dishes, etc. Believe me I DONT do wall fishes for free. I have had plenty of customers that want cable in the attic and routed down the exterior of the wall to the TV rather than through an exterior wall and running through their room on the floor and I do that for free, its no different that going thru the floor and crawl space, which is also done for free.
