First of all, if you knew me you would most likely agree I was more your type than them (whoever "them" are)
Secondly, if you really think telco workers universally receive $90 an hour you should ask them. I never received $90 an hour. I've received $90 an hour based on a 3 hour job but not $90 an hour over a 40 hour week. If you want to know how much a degreed telecommunications contractor gets paid if the contract calls for 40 hours a week ask the Bellsouth contractors who were making $35 an hour providing service after the hurricanes of '05.
Thirdly, on what planet does the worker receive 70% of the final product, or service in this case?
The fact remains that a quality cable subcontractor working under a quality contractor contracted for a quality system can make over $2500 a week. That's more than fair, in my book, so I ain't bitching. If you want to do better just say "no" to TWC and the poor primes out there ripping techs like us off.
