I got your point the 1st time. Heres where you and I disagree.
You and your types believe in putting a cap on what an insntaller should make. Any company/contractor in the telecom world that can stay busy ALL YEAR, SHOULD make 700k a year. You have no problem that a client will pay out that much a year, its just the concept of a 1 man operation having the contract.
But to be fair 90/hr is the going rate for telco contractors. BUT, that price is for the admin part as well as the labor. So many of us would only be getting 85% of the $90/hr. Cable contractors dont supply some of their own material (wire& fittings) so you can make a subtraction for that. MAybe 10%. Then you subtract for a nominal discount due to volume. Say another 5%. I do agree when customers buy in volume they should get a discount, but not a 50% discount. So IMO, a fair price for contract labor in the telco world is about 70% of $90/hr.
