Well written and agreed! I am just stating the facts in the purest form considering the situation from the perspective of those who control the money.
The point is it does open the door with the closed minded. Once in, it's all about proving your skills. It does not make anyone smarter, however if you apply for a job that requires a credential, you will not get an interview without some sort of paper to prove it.
The alternative to that paper would be who you know. If you do not have an in by association or the paper, you just pray for miracle's and luck.
