A crap load of years ago,may be the same today, you couldn't take out gli on yourself. Your biz could take it out on you. As a sole proprietor You were kinda up s...creek, so you payed a percentage to whomever you had a "contract" (ha!) with and were covered under a group policy, In other words Joe blow took it out on you and you took it out on him. Very complicated! Don't know anyone that had to collect on it or wether it was legit but it was the only way you were allowed to work. Later, Mike M.
