Re: Has anyone though of a Co-op?

in some places i think this might be happening now. i personally left a shop for a few month, came back, and while my prices haven't gone up for standard work, i'm now allowed to do custom work and get paid from the customer as long i notify the owner when it happens. i know that other's in the shop aren't afforded this privilege, but i don't overcharge the customer and i've always gone out of my way to make the customer, the provider, and my shop happy, while doin g my best to make it right for myself as well. i think that a lot of their oldest contractors having left has given me some leeway. maybe i'm wrong. but i'm making 2 to 4+ a day and getting home while there's still some light in the sky at the very least. could it be better? you bet, but maybe there's still some light in the industry.
