I think I would omit all references to the "races" of the other characters in this story. Also mentioning that your lady was waiting in an area that you determined to be unsafe due the "race" of the inhabitants probably also isn't going to fly with Ellen or her producers.
I would also not refer to the size of the woman who sat next to you unless that's relevant to how you were awoken (ie. she was so large she moved me across the seat).
