That seems to be the problem with most people. They let the credit cards control them and rack up debt that they can not pay. I use mine just like I would use a debit card. When I make a purchase with a credit card, I write it down in my checking account and make sure I never go over the balance in my account. Then when I get the bill, I just send them a check to pay in full. It works out nicely if you have a card that offers 1% cash back or something similar and use it for all your purchases. It adds up and I get a nice check every few months from them.
