I agree with part 1 of your message.
I will stay away from part 2.
But i have to disagree with part 3, and here is why.
Being a prime here for the last 12+ years I have seen more hack contractors then good ones give this work a shot. Everything from " I know everything about aerial A - Z ", or watching some try to cut more corners than a square has, or the never - ending " I know i have only been here for 2 weeks, but just found something better so here is my 1 hour notice, can you sign off on all my work so i know it passes QC.
At times i would rather pay someone to start off with me 10.00 to 15.00 hr and knowingly expect them to have gigs, than a sub to come in and have the same amount of gigs and then bitch about them. Subs know if their work is tight or if its shotty, but they won't tell you if its the later, and you won't find out until it is too late.
