How exactly does this cut pay to the workers?
By having the propper training, the MSO's in fact save money. If guys are trained and certified, jobs are done right the first time not 2-3 techs later. This, on the customer side, means a higher satisfaction rate (Which is why many customers switch to satellite). Which in turn means less customer turn and a more stable profit margin. So investments, if any, by the MSO's will be greatly returned in the end result.
