You're proof that all divorces don't result in deadbeats.
I agree with the others, try to get into arbitration, or have a paralegal (cheaper than a lawyer)) draw up the paperwork, especially if you're getting along (that's what my parents did, and other friends, too).
As a woman I must say this, too. If SHE wants out, she better have the means of supporting herself. You should offer enough to support the kids, but that's it. It's her decision, she better have planned it well.....
