Jesus F'in Christ I hate to read this stuff, but what in the heck is going on in the cable/sat biz ?
I do phone work only, as a cable splicer, and have NEVER not been paid. I work for companies that can bankroll my payroll until they can get paid and refuse to work for one that can't.
If someone has a prime contract and can't bankroll payroll, they have NO business being a prime! The Cable/Sat industry needs to start bonding their primes for a few hundred thousands $ (like $750,000) before they are allowed to work in the franchise, so when contractors are not paid they can draw off that bond.
