Yes Chalanger Way used to be 10th St. E. My Father used to have to work "field duty" it was top secret escorts. We were not allowed to know what or where he was going.

I remember one night I was spending the night at my friends house and we of course had been sneaking out of the house to go to a party and ended up behind them one night. Too funny hiding in the car so they wouldnt see us.

I was there the first time the shuttle came in and when it came went out piggy back. It was great. I was about 15 at the time I think.

I also remember when you could drive through EAFB to get to Vegas. I don't think they allow that since 911. My Father being a 3 war vet, would take my mother shopping at the commisary on base. Everything was much cheaper there and considering she was feeding 6 kids she took all the breaks she could get.

Im hoping to get out there this summer, will definatley let you know if that happens.
