I don't know about you wolf1 but the last time I was drilled by a HE tech was years ago. (exclude Cox tech from that) Here lately, I have to explain to them what I'm doing with the 5500 and 5510 and show them how I am going to set it up. The last HE tech I talked to didn't even know what freqs the modems were on or how to set up an 8591 to view it. They don't know what modem lock is or what it looks like on the analyzer.
I've been doing this since '84 and the new batch of "nubes" coming in were taught nothing by their predecessors.
It's almost back to the old days of "trial by fire" like I went through, where you sink or you swim.
