I agree with what you are saying.
We already know that the demand will way outshadow supply this year. I know of 4 major rebuilds that are going on or starting up right now. San Diego, Phoenix, Las Vegas, and NJ. that's just right now. Parts of FL, AL, MS and LA will be starting up in a month or 2. By that time most of the resources will be gone, except for the guys that come out of retirement and get fired again every time the money goes up.
The MSO's and primes will never realize that contractors do 80% of all the work out there and we do it faster and with better quality then their in house people.
I am sweeping and doing ingress and certs for less than I did 6 years ago, Yet the job has progressively gotten harder.
Go figure????
