Yes, its known as a 'non compete clause' most contractors have that in their contracts to keep you from leaving them for another contractor that pays more, true not very fair, but its been in contracts for 23 years that I can remember. GL, the only way around it to work in another city for the duration of the agreement then go back to work in that city.

Gwester843, is rite they will shut you down if they catch you working for another contractor.
