On a job like this what I would like to know is who is letting technicians out in the field without the proper training? Why is it we(contractors) are so desperate to get the revenue from these jobs that we are willing to put improperly trained technicians into a market that is about nothing but customer satisfaction? I cannot put my finger on it who would be more to blame. Could it be the trainer? Who misjudged the skills of the technician. The manager, for trying to fill a slot to get the work completed? Or the Owner of the contracting company who just wants more people to make more money.
Let's change this industry,
If someone cannot perform thier duties properly, it is not 100% thier fault. We have failed them by not providing them the education they deserve. Managers , supervisors , and even owners need to step up to the plate.
