There is no greater indicator that the population believes a war to be unjust than their own unwillingness to fight in it. Our nation is not full of cowards unwilling to fight. After the September 11th attacks, it was not hard to find people willing to sign up for the military. Americans still feel a patriotic duty to serve when our nation is in harm's way or to keep it out of harm's way. I guess we need another attack to solve our enlistment shortfalls.
