Legacy in most cases > Dish Pro and DPP. However I have had service calls with older recievers(not legacy) that were dropping transponders or would not complete the check switch. In certain cases the DPP was the only LnB that would complete the check switch and make the system work.
Particularly in homes that either the customer indicated possible electrical issues or if I suspected a "noisy" ground. The DPP's seem to work much better in those situations.
