The warehouse is very important part of cable television . If improperly managed it can cost a contractor alot of money . I personally must have everthing caged up new and old equipment. I issue you truck stock and invetory it regaruly. I give you everything on the print but I keep track of it right down to the pad , eq , pickle etc , etc . I also expect al old equip invetoryed back to me because I've checked the asbuilts and done ride out and walk out . Usuaully if its a could have been built you had the extra truck stock so that you didn't have to ride back to the warehouse to get it , by my truck stock invetory you can't steal from me , you mess up something and break it bring it back otherwise you the contractor has bought, if its missing from inventory . 30 years of learning here I hope you listen. Mother Company ,Prime and Subs . Truck stock is very important . When a production man has to stop work because he doesn't have something thats time lost, to me, time is money , poor planning , on whomevers part . slows a project down and cost everybody . Its all about planning and having the ability to execute that plan to move forward . I'm tired of people getting simple things wrong creating headaches for all of us. The Ducks gonna change things !!!
