it is a problem, but just as much with your meter as the lnb. the REAL problem with the lnb is the temperature it reaches. it fries in the TX sun in july and august. any dpp that's been on the roof a year seems to burn out in the middle of the summer here. maybe that's not correct, but a lot do. as for peaking the 1000, i just use to dp pro's and my $100 accutrac. i peak the 129 and 110 at the same time, and usually do better than the upgrades and tc's did. yes it's a pain, but then again so is going over 5 tuners. it's still good money for the time involved.....2 lines in, two boxes to download, and paid for 4 rooms? not a bad deal.
