As for the welfare and unenployment part when did it become the working clases job to keep up the lazy and trashy part of our society? Where I come from growing up if you didnt work you didnt eat and that was in the garden hoeing the crop that we canned for the winter months so we could eat. As for the idea of the depressed areas of the nation why are they depressed when the co.s that are based here in the USA have factories over seas and not here having the people that use and buy thier products make them for thier use. It is because they want to get a better and bigger bottom line instead of taking care of those that take care of them in the end which is the people here in the USA where the products are sold and used. but hey what does it matter to us anyway we should just be happy to breath air here without being taxed for it right. lol
