I could not agree with you more. Just recently I was having decent communications with a particular prime. I thought it was a go because his rates were good, as was the contracts location. His last email to me stated something along the lines of "come on up and let's make some real dough". I never responded and in fact put his company on my avoid list.
Any Primary who thinks it's really only about money is missing the big picture. Yes, I want value, but no I don't want to work with those only attracted to it. There are many better reasons to become involved than just cash, for what will cash get you when the Prime is booted on his ass in 2 months, or is late with countless checks?
