I do telco work only, no cable tv or dish stuff just telco. I'de be hard pressed to work for Mastec as an employee (they don't pay *hit) Or to work for them as a direct sub (it takes three weeks and three days after a invoice is approved by Embarq to get paid).
I invoice through PS Splicing, LLC and they take 15% off the top to bankroll my paycheck. The check gets here EVERY week and to me it's worth 15% to know I'm getting paid without having to wait a month after I invoice it.
PS Splicing says they ALWAYS get their money from Mastec and it just takes a while to get it. It's a great return for PS Splicing, I'de take a 15% return short term anytime if I had enough $ to bankroll payroll for 15 to 20 splicers.
