I haven't heard of it but wouldn't be surprised if it were true. Currently, analog comprises over 50% of an 800 Mhz system, and that is a lot of wasted bandwidth. For cable companies looking to expand channel lineups and introduce even more PPV stations, a move to pure digital is a plus.
