I also think there will always be contractors in some form or another in the satellite install industry, but it is the HSP's that I think may possibly go the way of the wind. I just see DTV cutting out the middleman (HSP's) and costs by bringing that part of the operation inhouse (where they will have better direct control over the quality of work being done in their name) nush as they did with a number of the call centers. With so much capital going into new sats and the development of new equipment they are going to have to streamline operations in some areas, cutting the gravytrain the HSP's have had over the years is something I think they are seriously considering.
