I guess it all depends on every individual's situation. For me Im filing exempt during this time of year that daylight is less and not as much OT can be worked. Come spring I will change it back and let them deduct. Im still POV and will have the deductions needed at the end of the year.

With the contractor rates being what they are, it made more sense to me find a job with a good hourly wage. Im employed by a contractor which means theres the possibilty of down times between contracts, butI can collect on my unemployment insurance between projects which allows me to be a little more selective when deciding to accept the next project. Most projects allow me the same amount of freedom and sometimes more freedom than jobs listed as contractor positions. So for me this is working well.
