well,for what it's worth... at this time, in this line of work, we,ve all seen people come and go. As a professional, of course, the natural urge is to teach and pass on our knowelege. The downside being sooner or later the "STUDENT" decides that they are capable of doing a job on their own yet riding on the "TEACHERS" reputation. Often times this comes back to haunt the legitament splicer/sweep tech. Although I don't think you should have to 'pay the dues' that I paid, I do think you owe it to yourself and to guys like me to never quit learning and don't ever forget that when people ask you where you leaned, be sure you don't descrace the guy that took the time to teach you.
