Its like comparing apples to peaches. There is no transition. I'm not saying it can't be done but 99 out of 100 splicers have gone thru the ranks like okcable said you need to learn the basic's of construction,I'm not saying it can't be done. If your mechanically inclined and have a GOOD trainer (that teaches you the right way,short cuts will come later) than you might make it. But don't expect to make a ton of money because the minute your on your own your gonna feel like your pants are down around your ankles. Good luck
