i agree. i can't complain about dish's prices, but when you can count on at least a phone call to 15% of your customers you have to consider part of the price as a downpayment on future effort. the dual tuners really are a double edged sword, 70% of the time they are a sweet gig, 2 lines, one ground block and a 4 room prewired home is done in an hour and a half. but if the actual resident isn't home to hear that it's not channel 3 on all the tv's, or the neighbor's remote 2 address happens to be the same as your customer's it gets stupid. warranty by the contractor for 12 months is ridiculous when most lnb's don't survive a dallas summer. sure you get the service call paid when it's equipment, but your workload is determined in part by your rtc's, if you did a lot new connects last year, then this years bad lnb's are averaging that out..........i guess the best to hope for is ......i've lost hope. it's just another day doing dish i guess.
