international programming on 148 and 61.5 IS NOT the same. the hd on 129 and 61.5 is. in dallas i do a LOT of international and every time i have to vary off of the prescribed oribtal for international i have to check with advanced tech to verify if i'm losing channels. sometimes i am. as far as signal, using a second dish does NOT do a whole lot of good for the 129 orbital, but the signal strength as reported by the point dish screen is MUCH higher for 61.5 than for 129. i stand by this from daily experience. whether or not the higher reported signal strenth for 61.5 makes a difference as far as ACTUAL signal strength i couldn't tell you, but i do know that it is MUCH harder to get a dish 1000's 129 orbital to even get one transponder to say 90 (13 is usually highest), than it is to get 61.5 to report 100 or better nearly clean across the board.
