This is the current mentality of our government that is destroying it. For 8 years we reversed the trend of borrowing to the point there was a surplus. But the citizens can be bought off for mere pocket change so don't ask them for anything that might hurt the party's chances in the next election while we spend $1 Billion each week on the war. Thankfully people are starting to understand they've been played.
