We are trying to run the directv's video/audio output through the dish vip622's antenna/cable coax input in order to utililize the 622's digital tuner with dvr. However, the directv output is either analog coax, rca, or HD DVI, componant outputs.
The 622's antenna/cable input is designed to work with digital OTA or digital cable signals. So, in order to get the signal into the dish622 it would have to output at channel 3.1 instead of channel 3, for example.
