Why would you even leave the house for a $20.00 call?? lets say you had 10 calls like this and they took 30 minutes average to fix. Now there is say 30 min travel time to each dont forget you need to map these out. That is a 10 hour day right? 5 hours of this is travel time = about $35 in fuel 5hrs x 50mph average = 250 miles @ 17MPG = 15 gal of fuel @ 2.30/ gal

Why would you work for pocket change in the first place??

Charge a minimum rate for the first hour<market rate> and add on all "extras" ie; fittings, cable, concrete, etc. You need an hourly rate for these type of jobs plus materials used! Dont accept any less!
