when I was a dealer and picked up service calls, I would explain the problem then call dtv/ dish net explain the problem(without putting down techs work) tell them the customer is willing to pay me to have it fixed if dtv/ dish would credit the amount to there account and 100 % of the time they would do it. But if u work for a hsp or sorts watch it due to the fact that they want you to "GET ER DONE " no matter what it takes. and accepting monies from the cust is a no no in there eyes!!!!!! good luck
