Lifters if you can use your companies wc that would be in your best interest. For this occupation you can be charged up to 30 points =30% of income for WC.. Get your own gl for about $400 year and wind up paying a lesser % for wc. The WC will go up when people start getting hurt on the job and drawing against the policy. This is why pay as a contractor is so much higher than inhouse techs with the mso. If you get your own WC remember that a policy for a sole proprietor typically doesn't cover yourself. You have peace of mind going through the prime that if you fall or wind up in the hospital from whatever its covered.
