Personally unless you can get a waiver in your state and you are forced to have it and are the only person in your company (sole proprietor), then most states won't allow you to file claim on your own WC, and at least if something happens to you you can file on the primes WC policy. Not that it'll give ya much compared to a weekly invoice for installs. Also if your prime is deducting WC from your check that sorta crosses the line of "employee/contractor" what am I debaucle.
