i've had many a sub pissed that i won't die for their cable, but i was told in training by a partner in the company don't EVER go under a wet house.......seems they'd hooked a dead installer out one time. nuff said.........my story always goes like this, "i pride myself in providing the best television experience to my customers, but not at the risk of missing the news with my son tonight, i apologize, but no." any other conversation is happening on the way to my truck..........it's my personal belief that customers and weather are the only impediments to my money.......everything else can be dealt with..........if either one SERIOUSLY gets in my way i walk............tell the truth i don't care if they EVER get service, my dish works in wind ,rain and hail and i'll be home EVERY night to make sure that's so.
