non-responders dtv

If you work as a contractor for dtv or the hsp's or afs you could be charged 5$ per phone line that does not respond. but here is the other side of things, what happens if a customer does not have any home phone service? well we are supposed to stay under 44% company wide. and if you get every single phone line in on every brand new install you should be under 44% and then you do not get charged. and they are saying that customers not having phone service and bad phone lines and customer refusal of phone lines are isolated events and that should not stop us from hitting our margin of staying under 44%. this is an extremely hard target to hit for any company! Is there any company that has hit this margin anywhere in the u.s.? And does anyone have a solution to the phone lines that does not include walking away from the bread and butter that we have built our lives upon. lets hear any answers maybe we can get on the same page and beat this one!!(snipper)
