I posted my migrant worker tip story the other day but after reading about the guy getting a tip of a case of beer hiding in the bushes reminded me of a story a tech told me when I was Field Supervisor for an Dish install company. He comes back to the office and says you'll never guess what I just got for a tip. He said he got an ounce of weed from the customer. He said when he got to the house he knocked on the door and the customer yelled out to come right in. When he walked in the big fat couch potato was sitting on his couch with a stoagie the size of a led zeppelin. The customer said to do what you got to do and I'll be sitting right here. When the tech was finnished the potato gave him the bag of weed for his tip. Our tech didn't show up for work for the next three days. I know most will say we should have fired him for not coming to work but he was one we could count on for completing 4 big installs a day. Just keep him away from the weed.
