As someone who started back in the infamous "good o'le day's" this is why I DON'T work for anyone having anything to do with directv. Observe all the posts regarding mastec lately. This crap TRIED to start back during the Primestar conversion. As time went on, it became almost standard to give "free" phone jacks. B.S.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The problem is, to many guys do the free work. If you would all "JUST SAY NO", at some point they would have to pay. But YOU will do it, then bitch and whine!!!
I just have ONE question, How do YOU make any money when everything is "free"? I REFUSE to work for someone who want's ME to give MY work away. Notice, it's NEVER THEIR work that they give away. When was the last time they gave away the sales commision (GASP) to make the sale. FAT CHANCE. NO CHANCE. But they have NO problem giving YOUR work away.
Until you stand up and say "NO", just bend over and take the sandy big one.
