One of DTV's contract call centers (West Corp) used to be here in our area (then DTV opened their own inhouse call center and gave West the boot). West had a weekly ad running in the paper for almost three years straight. They just couldn't keep employees. I rarely ever see ads for the inhouse DTV call center.
Bruister (the HSP in this area) has been running weekly ads for the past year. Every week without fail their is a nice display ad in the local paper looking for new employees. They started when they brought in all the company owned vehicles last year. If they can't keep employees and do the quality of work DTV demands, then I can see a time when DTV will either pull their contract or maybe pull the install department inhouse, just as they did with many of the contract call centers.
