i once was forced to try and make a 6 fitting work for 7 cable (finally got a decent temp until i could scrounge a proper fitting), but without the braid in the fitting picture quality was crap and i didn't even bother with the modem until i came back, but despite this.........I'M HORRIFIED TO HEAR THAT SOMEONE WOULDN'T REPLACE A DROP THAT WAS JUST CENTER CONDUCTOR. i've had some bad drops that i spliced for various reasons but i just can't imagine ever leav.................

i give up, at least there's a still a drop swap left for someone that's willing to work
