Software incompatability Don`t you LOVE it.

Reminds me of when I First started doing HSD way back in 1999 when AOL 7.0 was out. We got TONS of service calls because there internet just stopped working. This was of course due to AOL 7.0 DESTROYING the network settings (it was static back then) so to make sure that did`nt happen to US we asl ALL the clients "IF" they were using AOL. IF they said yes they WE put it in knowing what it would do, wipe out the network and then rebuild the TCP\IP stack. Then it would work.

Lets see. There was also the not having the 3.0 firmware update to intigrade the local dish with the main dish on DTV DVR`s 2 years ago. finally I had an HSD install 6 months ago where it all worked to the modem but would not pull up an IP address. NONE AT ALL. Turned out the network card was BRIDGED and "I" figured that one out. HSD support did`nt tell me anything helpfull. I fixed that and it worked just fine.

They were`nt using it that way anymore. I ASK.
