Lode Drafting version-conversion-confusion

Some drafting guru “Help please!!” … I know you’re out there!

I design with Lode 4.2, and import with Lode Drafting 4.2

I have a project that I did not design, but am doing the design import to the maps.
My client sent me the digital maps, lode design files, specs, and all the paperwork.

They design using Lode 3.08 which is no problem; my dilemma is that they import using Lode Drafting (some ancient 1998 version)!!
** I was sent a *.DFT file, which contains the layer, line type,… all the necessary import data which that version used – back in the day!
In today’s versions the “dft” file is obsolete, and is not used in the project setup.
Question:
Can I convert this file to some useable data for my drafting version, or am I doomed to create a new *.IMD file??

Any info will be Greatly appreciated!!
I would Really like to avoid having to re-create all that IMD file info.

Thank you.
