Although I was a toddler when that happened I will give the MAN 2 things that he did that NO Democract will ever do in this day and age.
First He defended US from Nuklear War by having a STRONG Military (something ALL democracts try to cut since then) and By doing so Also made A priorety of NASA and the space program
(another thing politicians also cut even though we ALL benefit from that like composites among other things).
IF ONLY ANY President would\could do the same today.
