Some good advice there. As he said, you can go from receiver direct to 121 to ensure there are no switch issues, etc. that are holding you back. Finally, those FSS birds have a sweet spot that is much smaller than the sweet spots for 119 and 110. A hair this way or that, and you don't have a lock.
I would recommend getting a Birdog if you don't have one. Those FSS birds are awfully crowded up there and an acutrac can have you thinking you are on your bird when you are just a few degrees off. Seeing the word "FOUND" will be a real lifesaver for those birds. Also, don't put the shroud on until you have a passing checkswitch. Murphy's Law seems to say that if you think you're done, you aren't.
