This reminds me of the DirecTV mirrored recievers. They beta tested them 2 years ago, but they never came to fruition. I am not worried by this new wireless solution. Heck, they haven't even incorporated wireless modems into the recievers yet. To top it off, they are basing this new system on a land based phone line?
They will have to also have a ethernet port on the control unit if they want to keep up with the current times. There are more and more customers both high end as well as low end that do not have land based phone lines.
Also, if and when dish rolls out this new system, I will bet you there will be issue after issue we will have to confront. I like Dishnetwork, but they are notorious for prematurely releasing products.
