Dude, that's ridiculous, I can't believe neither one of those guys would give you eight measly fittings. Fortunately, you can buy the crimpers and fittings at a Lowe's or Home Depot. They sell an Ideal brand crimper that is universal and works on almost every compression-type connector (PPC, Digicon, etc.). Most of my guys use these crimpers with PPC fittings. They are heavy duty and about five bucks cheaper than most supply houses. You can get generic brand, RG-6 Quad compression fittings there too. This might be the quickest way to solve your problem.
